Capiz is an oyster-like shell called Placuna Placenta, which is common in the sea around the Philippines. ... The shell has a translucent character and is therefore also called a window shell. It is a fairly round and flat shell. This hanger has a beautiful dome shaped top and has several strings where the shells are attached to. This gives the hanger volume and makes the light play beautifully with the translucent discs.
