Beautiful piece of art, painted in oil on canvas, of a bunch of chrysanthemums in an enamel pan. The painting was made by Lubbertus Patroclus "Berto" Roegholt in 1998.
Berto Roegholt was born on July 30, 1920 in Amsterdam and died on March 26, 2013 at the age of 92.
He already made this work at an advanced age, but it beautifully reflects the flowers and the setting they were placed in. The contrast between the pink flowers and the grey pan also comes into its own in this work. The simple wooden frame around the painting is made in the same shades as the painting.
